7K a year The IPS Employment Supervisor provides oversight to the IPS supported employment program.
The Supervisor ensures good program outcomes by providing training, supervision and field mentoring for staff, monitoring outcomes, and implementing quality improvement plans.
Responsibilities:
Assists in hiring, training and evaluating employment specialists and peer mentors.
Sets expectations for staff in regards to community-based time, employer contacts, employment outcomes, etc.
Assists employment specialists with integration at behavioral health partner agencies, VR, etc.
and ensures staff attend weekly and monthly meetings as well as participates in meetings at least once per month to promote integrated services.
Provides daily supervision and meets weekly with staff to ensure IPS principles are followed.
Conducts weekly/monthly field mentoring for each person on the IPS team.
Maintains a caseload of 15 and ensures compliance with CARF, MCO and Dartmouth Fidelity Scales.
Acts as a liaison to other departments and communicates regularly with employment services staff to ensure that services are integrated.
Develops, reviews and maintains PCP's, daily service notes and all required IPS documents for client records to ensure proper authorizations and payments.
Provides IPS supported employment services including job search, job training, follow-up, etc.
as well as coordinate service delivery schedules and needs of peer support specialists.
Maintains open communication with referring agencies, individuals, families and other representatives to review client progress toward employment.
Conducts intake and employment plans to help individuals reach chosen career goals.
Conducts follow-up employment checks with an employer, individual, natural supports, etc.
as requested to support individuals after job placement to ensure employment success.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Management and supervisory experience in the human services program with considerable knowledge of human behavior, learning, and development.
Knowledge of mental health and psychoeducation techniques, mental illness, developmental disabilities and outcome-based services.
Working knowledge of methods and principles of behavioral health service definitions, guidance and counseling, and employment.
Ability to deal effectively with clients, parents, agency representatives, case managers, funding sources and the public.
Knowledge of mental illness, case management principles and techniques, Person-Centered Planning/Thinking, evidence-based practices and best practices in service delivery.
Proficient in Google Suites with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in a positive manner in oral and written form.
Ability to liaison with partnering and/or referring agencies such as Behavioral Health Agencies, Vocational Rehabilitation, MCO, Department of Social Services and other local and state resources.
Extensive knowledge of supported employment principles, job market and employment opportunities available in the community.

Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree with supervisory experience, 6 months of Vocational Rehabilitation experience, and experience as an employment specialist.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in rehabilitation related field with supervisory experience and working knowledge and experience in supported employment.
